Dongnae (동네) is a warm and welcoming Korean neighbourhood restaurant by Kyu Jeon and Duncan Robertson, the chef couple behind Bokman in Bristol's Stokes Croft. 

In Korean, Dongnae means ‘neighbourhood’ and we’re thrilled to be a part of the vibrant culinary community of Bristol’s Chandos Road. 

We are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday, serving a menu inspired by Kyu’s upbringing in Seoul and our time living in Korea. The flavours of traditional Korean BBQ and traditional fermentation processes are at the heart of everything we do. For our wine list, we focus on low-intervention wines that pair beautifully with our food. 

Midweek lunches feature a great value set lunch alongside a shorter selection from our à la carte. For dinner and on Saturdays, enjoy our full à la carte and our special Hanjeongsik; a Korean banquet style menu that showcases the best local and seasonally sourced ingredients.
